Pretty good for your first dive video. Way better than mine was.Great sound and you are a pretty steady filmer!
Wow it gets a lot darker over there at 25m than here in CA. Was it shot morning or mid day, or was this more like dusk.
You guys also have the scorpion fish we have the sculpin here in CA very similar. I always have to watch where I set my hand. A few times I have had a few close calls. I tend to forget how well these blend in with their surroundings.
One thing that I did on my last dive but have not posted yet was a cool shot using the mono pole from different angles (selfies with other divers in the background. I did some from the bottom up angle some from the top down and from the side. It was a cool perspective. Unfortunately I think I misplace my sd card before I could make a short movie clip of it. Oh well, it looks like it will give me another reason to want to get back in the water and try it again.
Keep filming its a blast!
Ever wanted to try diving the Loch Ness?

It was fun to watch some of this video. I envy you your sea stars!

I find that I'm only good for about five or six minutes of dive video, unless it's either extremely exciting or has something in it I'm specifically watching for.

You might try enlisting the assistance of your dive buddies to give you some off-axis lighting for your subjects. It's really hard to light critters with a dive light and not burn them out, and lose their surroundings.

And tell Kevan to secure that octo . . . :)

Thanks guys really appreciate your comments.
We had 2 dives (morning between 9:30 and 12) but Scotland which means clouds and heavy rain showers :)

WIth regards to lightning I am going to buy 1 or 2 Archon D11v video lights sometimes after my hollidays as I am going to Dahab

Loch Ness af far as I am concern visibility is really bad but whon knows maybe I should try sometimes in future :)

Happy easters to you

Didn't know you had clear water lakes.

I did dive the Loch Ness! Was coming down after a week of diving in Scapa and we decided to rinse our kit and finish our gas :)
It is dark. Not bad in terms of suspension in the water, it's more due to tannins.
No monster though!
