We stayed a little west of there off the east point of Half Moon Bay. There were a couple of sites nearby - all would be a short ride from Blue Bahia.
A short distance east is Spooky Channel, one of the more popular dives on the north side. At one time you could access it from the
former Bay Islands Beach resort dock however they closed last year so IDK what the current status of the property is.
There's also a private dock right in front of Spooky Channel - properties there are managed by these people:
Roatan Honduras | Caribbean Beach Vacation Rentals, Condos, Villas, Apartment, Cottages at Sunnyside | Real Estate
I emailed them and received permission to dive it
IF they had no guests staying at the properties closest to the dock that week. They
did so we dove Spooky off Coconut Tree Diver's (West End) boat instead.
Another shore dive slightly further west of Blue Bahia is off the SeaGrape Plantation dock. I don't know the specifics for non-guests - I rented a villa next door and my buddies walked over one evening to look at it the entrance. I read that you enter there but most people drift west around the point and exit at Half Moon Bay Cabins. There's a diveshop at SeaGrape also.
It's a 5-10 min. walk back from HMBC to SeaGrape.
It might be a decent dive as the Utila Aggressor moored just off our "beach" for 2 days. But that was also so their guests could go to the West End at night.
Half Moon Bay wall is a shore dive just slightly further east near the middle of the bay. It's a long swim out though. You might pay one of the local boats to drop you there and swim back in. A DM told me Half Moon Bay is really shallow for a long way out.
Some more info here - not sure how current it is:
Scuba Shore Diving Site Listing for: Honduras, Roatan, Caribbean - notice a lot of the reviews are 5+ years old.
Unless I'm wrong - Spooky is about 1-1/2 miles
east of Sandy Bay also. So #4 appears to be in the wrong spot. Sandy Bay is also
west of AKR (Front Porch) IIRC. I think #4 should be between 7-8.
