Shore diving off of L.B.I.

I have a week long vacation at a shore house on Long Beach Island (New Jersey) next month. I have a boat dive scheduled for one day that week, but I was wondering if anyone has ever done any shore dives off of there. NJSCUBA.Net shows a couple of close in wrecks off the island that I may try to look for.
