Does anyone have any experience shore diving at Don Foster's? Our cruise is stopping at Grand Cayman but we get in after most operators leave for their morning trips and we depart at 5:00 pm. Emailed Don Foster's and they suggest shore diving at their location. Looking for any input on the dive there, wall, reef, etc.

At DF a ladder makes entry & exit easy. It's about a 5/10 min swim over 15-20 feet hard pan to the start of the miniwall from say 30-60 feet. Then sand flats with dotted coral heads lead out to the main wall - about a 10 min swim from the mini wall. Main wall is from 60 feet downwards. Depending on your wish you could either cruise up & down the mini wall or the wall - whichever I recommend you turn left away from George Town harbour. There's a jumble of concrete block & lines on the sand flats directly off DF so you can use these as a reference point as to where to turn back towards the ladder.
