On the local shore dives, do people usually do one long dive or bring 2 tanks to do 2 dives? Also, how difficult is the entry from the shore? I've never done a shore dive before. thanks

Entry from shore depends on the waves, but then so does the viz. Most shore dives in the area involve walking across a sandy beach and wading in until it gets deep enough to put on your flippers.

No. of tanks depends on the type of dive and location. Some people can go 2 hours on a tank at Venice because you are basically stationary when hunting sharks' teeth.
