Hi,
Im looking for some information on doing a shore dive on Mon July 16th in the Cape Ann area. Ill be coming from CT and know there are a lot of choices for good shore diving in the Rockport/Cape Ann area.
I'll be diving a relatively new diver so im not looking for anything to tough or deep. We're open for anykind of dives as we want to experience them all at some point and we dont care where we start. If anyone has some good suggestions or wants to join us in a dive for the day let me know.
All info is welcome as to what you think is a good dive site, what the best time to dive there is high vs. low tide and what time of year.
Thanks in advance...
Mike

Old Garden Beach.

Hi Mike, it oftens depends on the prevailing wind directions, my favorite spot is Folly Cove. I am off on Monday so may may be able to join you, however looking at the current weather projections, it may be iffy (Partly cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm. High of 82F. Winds from the SSW at 5 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%). I will re-assess the forecast on Sunday. PM me as to your plans
Hal
