Shop EZ Scuba

Over the last few weeks I have been looking at several different options for a BCD . I have made a decision on the one I want . After looking at various sites for pricing I came across a really good price from Shop EZ Scuba in Tampa Florida ( I still need to make sure they have stock , web site said they did) . The price is almost to good to be true. As I will be ordering online and having it shipped I don't want to get taken , has anyone had any experience with buying online from this company?

I did not buy online.

But found them online, exchanged messages online, then phone, got a really good deal on a item and I drove there to pick it up.
This was about 2 & 1/2 years ago, item still works today as it did when I bought it.
I'm about 4 hours away from the shop, so this was the only time I've seen/used them.

With the exchange rate, duty, and shipping, are you still at a good deal?

I am going to have my LDS give me a price I would like to buy local and will pay a little more to do so , I will see what they come up with. They will be paying the same exchange I do as they will have to order out of the US and as far as duty ( GST/HST ) goes I live about 15 min from Sumas Washington , I can have it shipped ( no charge from Shop EZ ) there , the border guys where I cross don't seem to ever bother having you go in to pay anything to them. Mind you there is always a first time for everything. But even if I have to pay tax at the border it's not like I don't have to pay it from the LDS here so it would be a wash . I will certainly give the local shop the chance to price it for me and like I say will pay a little more to buy local. But with just getting into the sport there seems to be a lot to buy and if I can save a couple hundred on a BCD . I can likely buy a little better reg.

No experience but doing a google search they have a store location at the address listed on the website. So they seem to be legit. Remember your credit card company may offer you buyer protection too. Good Luck.

Glad you found what you wanted at EZ Scuba, I DM for the shop and will hopefully soon be going for my IDC. You can always count on Eric (EZ Owner) to match and/or beat any advertised price.

The shop is a technical training facility where we offer everything from PADI OpenWater to IANTD rebreather and cave training. We have many folks that travel to come train with us year round from all over the country and Canada.

I hope you'll check us out and maybe come train with us.
