Gonna play with it a bit tomorrow and see I guess. Im doing the manta dive in Kona again and video is the way to go. Stills take so long to focus that they are over you or on top of you and out of focus before the pic is taken.

Been thinking about this some more - if you are going to be at constant depth why not use the One Touch White Balance . Didn't know you could do it in movie mode till I checked the manual (Pg 128) a moment ago .It worked for me taking stills , no reason why it should not for video . Gonna try it myself this weekend with my 7070 .

I will have to look that one up! Good idea. I forgot to try the video today, too busy playing DM. Maybe tomorrow.

I have very fond memories of the manta ray night dive on Kona, especially since I got it on video.

Are you prepared to get converted ? Resistance is futile. :D

Converted to video or mantas? Done the mantas but ended up paying $90 for the DVD. This time I want to video it.
OK, Im not finding the one touch white balance. Pg 128 is in german or something. Also not finding it in the english section.

Converted to video...:D

Photography is great, but video captures the excitement, plus the editing and music choice really lets you create things to your liking. To me, nothing spoils a video more than music that doesn't fit my taste.

$90 ??? Wow, that's expensive. Worth it I guess if you don't have your own camcorder.

Have the camcorder but not the UW housing for it. Thats why I wanted to try the 5060. Also it would have to be a special dive for me to video it, I just wouldnt spend the time to watch em otherwise. Now if I could find a way to make money at it?????

Hit the OK button then hit "down" key to WB tab
Scroll down down to the box with two triangles below it .
Hit the > key , point the camera at sometingg white and press OK
That's it - if you have done it corectly there should be the box with the two triangles below the ISO settings on your LCD .

Thanks! I'll giver er a go.
