looks like a mix of surface support and a mini sub with a mechanical arm:)

That is way cool, must be exhilarating to find something like that. I always like reading the National Geographics about shipwrecks, always intrigued me.
 
Diving trimix to 1700' I think you would want this mix:

1700 is equal to 52.51515152 ATA

Percent O2
1.4 Target PO2 = 2.665897288 % O2

N2
100 Equiv. Narcotic depth 3.14 ata

5.979226774 % N2

He required

Total O2 and N2 8.645124062

He 91.35487594

IN NO WAY WOULD I DO THIS.

Over 2% makes the H component of the mix explosive!, and there's way too much He.
