I want to check baggage a brand new AL80 going to Bonaire but don't want to return home with it. Looking for someone in Bonaire that would buy it at cost.

Define "cost". How much?

LeisurePro has one for $170, that would be the cost

Why would you want to do this?

How many dives are you going to do before selling the tank?

So someone could choose another tank at cost, I only want to use it for 2 weeks

Cost for you is $170. Cost for a dealer buying them by the pallet is $100. IJS.

I'm confused - why wouldn't you just rent tanks in Bonaire? If you bring your own tank, they'll charge to you inspect it before filing it the 1st time, no? Then you'll have to wait while they refill after each dive versus just grabbing a filled tank and being on your way to the next dive? Why would you do this for the most common tank available to rent - the AL 80?

They sell them for $299 because I called some on them. So however buying at that cost is who I'm targeting

I would already have the visual done for nitrox and the cost to fill owner tanks is $6.50
