Sherwood Wisdom 3 in fresh water?

I wonder if the Wisdom 3 (or any Sherwood dive computer) can be used in fresh water mode?
Not only in altitude as the manual says, but it seems there's no manual setting for that.
Can anybody hel me clarify that, please?
