As far as I know, there is only one implementation of DSAT in the late 80s. I don't think the deco algorithm is a problem, nor is the PADI RDPdoesn't support nitrox. runs an older dsat implementation that would be considered aggressive by some nowadays. doesn't count down safety stops. some of the early revisions didn't have an easy way to change the battery.
otherwise if the pressure sensor, button, and display still work, it is still usable as an air only dive computer.
