The only thing that I can think is that this is a pretty silly way to buy regs. You cannot tell on sherwoods by the serial number that I am aware of.

Silly or not. I bought it over the internet. It is unused and in the box. I have two Sherwood setups and hope to use this second stage as a possible backup to one of those setups if I ever need an extra second stage on them. Price was $15.00, just arrived today in mail and looks great. I'd just like to know the age and any other info, if anyone knows Sherwood catalog.

Post a picture of the reg. Alot of us here recognize pictures. Either way alot of the old sherwoods are still serviceable. Not to worry.
