Sherwood CBS piston clooged !
Soon I will receive two Sherwood regulators that no longer release bubbles from the CBS rubber plugs.
My question is what experiences or advice do you have regarding the cleaning of the sinter filters in the piston.
Successful or unsuccessful, both are of interest.
So far, I have been thinking about a combination of cleaning solution and ultrasonic cleaning. Possibly also a
(water) high-pressure cleaner?

Thank you for every answer.

I think you will need new piston.

Thank you for your responses.
If I can't get new pistons, I will try using a hight pressure washer and/or muriatic acid
and take into account everything that is described in Jcp2 link "Sherwood dry bleed contaminated piston".

I'm just here to say that "clooged" should be a word (rather than a typo) and it should be defined as "clogged with goo".
I already assumed this was the slang 😅
Seconded!
