I would just inspect the o-rings, see how they feel, maybe look at them with a jeweler's loupe. I would certainly pay close attention to the HP piston o-ring. If you have any concerns just get new EPDM (it's not EDPM as mentioned) o-rings from someplace like oringsusa or mcmaster-carr. Awap has a handy chart that shows SP part numbers cross referenced with standard sizes and duro rating. It's the seats and bushings that are proprietary, not the o-rings.
If you use the old ones and are a little concerned about it, just leave the reg pressurized for a few hours after rebuilding. That should let you know how they are.
