Well, there's lot of fish called sharks in pet store that obviously aren't shark, another is the iridescent shark.
Lake Nicaragua sharks are bulls sharks, but are often referred to by other names.
This type of behavior has been somewhat troublesome in India, as Bulls and Tigers (sharks) often swim up river into brackish if not fresh water and have on occasion attacked persons wading by the riverbank.
I doubt that shark eggs would be found in a lake in Canada though, as I doubt Bull Sharks could handle the harsh winters, but Bras d'or lake isn't really a lake and connects to the sea. Sounds like a sound (ie: LI Sound).
