Hi,
I am working on a funded research project based at the University of Wales in the UK examining the potential for dive tourism to contribute towards the conservation of sharks. As part of this research I am looking to talk to people who have dived (recreationally) with sharks about their experiences.
It is hoped that the results of this study will help to generate best practice guidelines for operators who run shark diving operations.
If you are interested in helping out with this study then you must
- be over 18
- have dived recreationally with sharks (any species / anywhere)
- be prepared to talk in depth about your experience/s of diving with sharks (interviews would be taped, carried out over the telephone and we would ring you).
Any information would be confidential and interviews would be carried out at a time convenient to you.
