Service kits Apeks DST 5-port (Europe)

Fellow sidemount divers,

I have an issue with my left Apeks 5 port DST reg.
Need to have it checked but due to the Aqualung mess that is affecting Apeks none of the reg service technicians I have spoken to in Portugal or dive shops I usually buy from in Europe has any service kits in stock and tell me nothing can be done before probably December.

There's a chance it could be the diaphragm.

Does anyone have any suggestions about where I could still find a service kit?

Can't think that the only solution is to find another reg from another brand...
All my regs (SM and BM) are Apeks
(in hindsight it was probably not wise to put all my eggs in one basket...)

Worst case there is a third-party alternative: Service kit for Apeks 1st Stages similar to SGAP 0241

I used to buy mine from sf-1.eu, but they appear to not have them any longer (or not sell them)

Try scubagaskets. They have alternative kits that are just as good as the original and even have apeks

The thicker (1.6)diaphragm from scubagaskets comes highly recommended as n upgrade over standard ones btw; apparently they are less prone to champagne bubbles after a year or 2

I'll 4th scubagaskets. I bought enough service kits from them for my dozen or so regs to last me a decade or more. They are not 'factory' parts but seem to be working just fine.

As for sources for the OEM service kit, here’s some of the ones in the EU that I’ve used already and know have(had) the Apeks service kit:

Check actively which ones have it available; I mainly bought parts in “bulk” (I buy seats and diaphragms, and buy my own oring packs from scubagaskets)
