AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! :bigun2:

Now thats better!

The Dive shop i started with 5 years ago are starting to "cut back" because things are "tight." They start by sacking the dive school manager (who happens to be my instructor and good friend) now we have nowhere to teach cos my loyalty is with my mate ...then they cancel the pool that we use so we've nowhere to bring students...Have you ANY idea how hard it is to find a pool that takes divers?

AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
oh wait i said that already...hmm...

Not sure except maybe your mate could become and independent instructor and figure a way to teach where he isn't beholden to a LDS.

just and Idea

I'm with you- me thinx thats the plan... ;)

Our biggest thing is the equipment, where o where to get it. But the good news is that the guy who runs the pool we use, maybe interested in starting something up...we have a good group of instructors behind us to do it...

And no better Freak than me to do it! :D

Lining up a pool can be a huge problem. For the whole 4 years I had a shop it seemed like every other class we'd have to find another pool. Nothing was ever reliable. I lost lots of students because we never had a close convenient pool.

The last pool we were using was about 45 minutes from the shop and almost 2 hours from where I live.

I can't see any one renting equipment at a price you could afford to pay. you'll almost certainly have to own it. If you're not a dealer or get some shop to cut you one hell of a deal it'll never pay for itself.

Air might be another problem. If you have to drive around and pay $5 per fill or worse have to rent tanks it's gonna kill you.

Good luck

Maybe i'll win the lotto and build the dive centre of dive centres in....ireland....!
