Dolphins are weird. You hear stories like this which are cool... and stories where they save people too...

....and then the dark stories where they batter young dolphins and outsiders to death...and similar very unsavoury behaviour.

Maybe that's why people think they are so intelligent - because they mimic the inexplicality of human behaviour so often.

Just like us they certainly appear to have their Jekyl and Hyde sides though......

That's a great story...but dolphins do have their dark side too. Off Scotland, bottlenose dolphins were caught on video battering harbor porpoises to death over food resources.

Interesting note: one of the most aggressive dolphins that exist: "the pygmy killer whale" was taken into captivity at Sea Life Park in Hawaii. The animal went nuts and killed one of its tankmates...a dolphin (not sure if was a bottlenose or spinner).

Of course no life form is a total "angel", but neither are there total "demons". It's all too apparent in humans.

Zingtea...just noticed that you have a Youtube library about cetaceans. You should share the kink as it's terrific!
