I grew up in SoCal but have been living in Seattle for some years now. I learned to dive up here but I need to see some California kelp when I come down for a visit in February!
I'm a somewhat-better-than-new diver, used to cold water, bad vis, and a drysuit. What around the Los Angeles area should I go see? I'll have wheels, but I'll need tanks, weights, and a dive buddy.
I saw some great boat recommendations in that other thread--would that be the best bet? Thanks for any input.
