" Mere Invertabrate" Huh? Was that an Atlantic Blue shark? I thought they were known for being greased lightning and potentially aggressive. Boy, I bet HE was surprised :eek5:

Can someone perhaps give me a direct link to the video file or something? I'd really like to see this video. :D

same here...nothing on the page to click once I get there...

I do have real player installed and it is definitely not working for me. How unfortunate! I browsed through the website and I can't seem to view any of the videos. I sent an email to inform them that it seems like Mac users are unable to view, so hopefully they can do something about it. :D

I can't get this video to work either but if it's the one I think it is you're looking at a GPO (Giant Pacific Octopus) eat a Dogfish. I'm not aware of any Blue Sharks being in the Sea Aquarium.

Someone correct me please if I'm wrong.

This was filmed in the Underwater Dome exhibit at the Seattle Aquarium several years ago for a documentary on Octopus. The shark is a Spiny Dogfish. What you don't see is the diver out of camera range that had just released the dogfish right in front of the octopus. The Aquarium does not have an octopus in the dome anymore because too many fish were starting to disappear. I have heard that the octopus in the dome were also snaring salmon.

That's some serious 20,000 leagues under the sea action right there!

Wow.. thanks for the video link, that was pretty impressive.

D.
