Hello,

I am new to the underwater world and would like some friendly advice on the Seaquest Pro XLT.

A friend of mine who is an experienced diver has one for sale as he mainly hooker dives now days as he just turned 72yo. The unit is in excellent condition and is approx 3 years old. Has done about 20-30 dives per year for the 3 years. It comes with a set of much older guages/hoses that are still in reasonable to good condition. (Brand is Deacor I think??? Partly annalogue with a small digital computer readout I think.) Please excuse my lack of knowledge as I am a beginner. I need good, honest advice please as the price is quite good.

My question is to the forum members;

Is this BCD a good quality product?

How does it perform compared to others you have owned?

What if any issues/failures are you aware of?

What life expectancy should I expect out of it assuming its well cared for?

Any positive or negative feedback on the item would be most appreciated.

Are there any modifications I could do to make the item perform better or be safer in the long run?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer my questions.

Regards,

Petril Rock.
