Hello everybody!
I actually consider buying my own BC. The problem is: I love the bella from scubapro (how it looks, the shape, its features etc) but: I can not try it on, because in germany are only the sizes S to XL available and I would need it in XS (this size is available in almost every other country.....).
I know that the pro qd from seaquest fits me very well in size xs, so this would be the alternative (but I would only buy it if I know the bella will not fit me. I am so in love with this jacket.... ;-) ).
but now I write here because I hope that perhaps somebody can help me with that problem and knows if they would both fit the same person in the same size. I mean, when I know that the seaquest fits, would the bella fit me too? has anybody tried them both on and can say that the fit of both is comparable?
So if it would be so I would try to buy a bella (from abroad) in xs and hope that it fits me :-) of course, if it doesn't fit perfectly I would sell it (ebay?) even though I would loose some money on that way and then buy the seaquest. but that would be very sad ^^

so, I hope you understand what I wanted to say (sorry that my english is soo bad) and perhaps somebody can help me :-) thanks in advice

I tried on both and the Scubapro Bella is a much better fitting BC, its very comfortable.

The Pro QD is a guy BCD you should compare it with Pearl or Diva they are specifically designed and meticulously tailored for the female diver.

SCUBAPRO is pleased to introduce the Bella bouyancy compensator, specifically designed and meticulously tailored for the female diver.

The Bella has adjustment straps in the back so that it can be sized to fit better, and to be able to be adjusted for weight loss/gain. :D

hi!
thank you for your answers, you are a great help.
I think I will try it and buy a bella in the internet without trying it on ^^ I hope it will fit. If not.... ebay ;-)
@NCadiver: yes, I know that the pro qd is a guys bc, but I had no chance to try a female bc in size xs. I tried only guy bcs in this size (I tried it on in an indoor diving center, and they had only guy bcs but so I could try it under water). so I hope a women bc will fit too :-)
thanks very much

ps: I am 5'3" 'small' and 105lb... is here anybody with a similar size who knows if xs is small enough?

Your English is a lot better than my German! :D

You should have better luck posting your question over in Scuba Board's "Womens Views" section.

Go to the "Forums" drop down menu along the banner at the top of this page, select "Community Forums" at the bottom of the list, then click on "Womens Views" at the bottom of that list. From that page, go to "Diving Related." I'm sure you'll get lots of great advice there.

Good luck!

thank you for the hint, I posted my question in the womens forum now, too. I hadnt found this forum before :-) thx

try getting a bp/w you can cut the harness so that it fits you just right, or zeagle ranger

Hi Ela you should fit a xs diva or pearl by Aqualung from your height and weight. But good luck with your choice.
