Am looking at the seaquest eva for my new bc... has anyone dove it? Love it? Hate it? Please help!!!

I have one it fits well and I generally like it to dive in.

I have never had problems with dumping air that some of the reviews reported. Does the one you are looking at have clips for the intergrated weight pockets or just velcro? I have had valcro pockets drop on on me more than once which is not what you want and the pockets are a bit hard to get stuff out of when you have the weights in. For these reasons I am thinking of reverting to a weight belt which is not what you really want with a weight intergrated BCD.

However if mine had clips I would be pretty happy.

I have the EVA, and i just dove with it for 12 dive days straight in Micrones - worked wonderfully. I did not have any problems with the velcro or dumping air, although the BC is pretty new. I did deep dives, caves, wrecks, you name it. I would say my vote is "yae". .....go for it.

I have used my Eva for +-50 dives. It's great. very streamlined, it doesn't get in the way or make moving difficult. Alot of the other bc's i tried bulked me up where moving was awkward, eva doesn't. It's very minimal-ish. If you don't want alot of extra stuff (pockets, ect.) it's great. :07:

Thanks for the help. I am looking for a minimalistic bc, and I think this is it! Thanks again!!!

Hi,

I'm pretty new to SB. I have a seaquest eva BC, and personally, I absolutely love it!! The fit is great, I don't have any problems with the dumping mechanisms, and I just find it to be a great BC for me.

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!!
