Seaquest BC Repair?

The male threading, at the connection of the inflator hose and the BC, on my old seaquest bc explorer cracked. Does anyone know if this can be replaced? Thanks.

So this is an international phenomenon.

There is one guy here in the bottom of the Philippines who has replaced about 20 of these. Seaquest says they are not aware there is a problem. Seems he DIY's it somehow. He has gotten BC's from all around the Philippines for repair.

Paul, thanks for your reply. So you have heard of someone repairing the BC themselves? Do you know if the manufacture will repair them? I wonder how much something like that would cost since seaquest says they are not aware of a problem. Thanks

I am in the bottom of the Philippines so service for anything is not really that great here. I could not buy a repair kit from the Seaquest dealer here. Not sure if you can over there. What my friend did is to replace the whole inflator assembly including the broken male thread inside the bc. No warranties or anything of course. I am not really sure how he did it but he said he had to glue the new one into place.

I will see him tomorrow and will ask. Will let you know on Monday.
