The DC500 is manufactured by Pioneer electronics a leader in consumer electrics and is backed by a service department that will go overboard to keep you happy.

If your looking for a compact consumer level camera that is easy to handle underwater and take good pictures for home use. This camera should be considered.
Also by using the fish mod which auto corrects color saving you from doing it post dive.
In the price range that it is in, it is a value

It's just advice on this board.. Not our money.. If you are happy with it and willing to live with the issues and spend as much on it as you could another camera of better quality, no skin off our noses.. :D
