I got a reefmaster 35mm a few months ago. Tried it in the fresh water here with disappointing results. Tried it last week at the Keys, and tho' it was a little bit better, was still awfully blue.

I just finished ordering a strobe for it from the Scubatoys web site. They have about the best price for the Reefmaster strobe that I have found anywhere.

With a digital, you can always adjust the blue level on you computer and tweek the picture electronically, where I have to take mine in for processing and have them adjust the blue levels during processing...

A strobe (or two) is recommended, but you can get some decent macro pictures with just the internal flash.
