FOR SALE: SeaLife DC1400 Maxx Duo Video Digital Underwater Camera with Flash & Photo/Video Light Includes Fisheye Lens, Battery/Charger Kit, Flash Diffuser, Moisture Munchers & 16GB Card (EXTRAS include a Spare battery, the SeaLife SL965 Buoyancy control weight w 3 screws) & a 10 pack of Moisture munchers) = $750 + (~$50) for shipping/insurance.
I purchased this locally (Rhode Island) from a reputable dealer in Feb 2013. I used it on two trips to Bonaire in 2013 & again in Bonaire in 2014. The camera & set up are great for New to Intermediate photographers. I say this only because it does not take photos in RAW format. This has never been a problem for me and I really have enjoyed how compact it can be for travel. The fisheye lens has made some very cool shots both with and without the photo flash. Video is very easy to use and again takes great videos both with and without use of the video light. This camera takes better pictures on land than any point and shoot I have used. That says a lot!
I'm selling this because I am having surgery on my hands (fingers) and will not be able to carry anything for quite some time. I love underwater photography and take great care with all of my equipment. I would say that this is in very good condition. All dives in Bonaire were made from shore so there were no boat buckets. I rinsed retentively. This is a very good deal since the new retail for all the items mentioned goes for $1899. If you are lucky, you could get this same package (& extra goodies) new on a site for $1499.
I will personally deliver it free to your doorstep if you live in the Cape Cod area! Because I used to feel as though I got ripped off all the time living in Alaska when it came to shipping, I will ship to you fellow Alaskans for free! PayPal is the preferred method. I'll accept a personal check however will not ship until the check clears (common sense).
