A friend and I found a pair of seahorses a few weeks ago while diving off Venice Beach looking for shark teeth. Anyone else seen them? It must be a sign of good water quality.

You can find seahorses and especially pipefish all summer long, if you look. They usually hang out around the seaweed.

On the surface, there's not much to see at VB, but when you look closely, you'd be surprised.
 
Im taking my camera in next dive - like to get a couple shots of some sea horses.
 
And the Mantis shrimp!
 
The only problem is that I am going to be too busy looking for stuff to take pictures of to find any teeth.
 
There's been a lot of small octopi around. Saw several last weekend.
Look in the shells, they are about 2"-2 1/2" dia. leg span.
