A good friend of mine own's a pawn shop and they just got a seac sub hero regulator in. Has anyone ever heard of this and are they any good? I was thinking about buying it. They said we could work out a price. Just wondering what you guys know.

Did you ever find a place that would service Seac Sub? I have the same setup and have been out of the sport for a while... Now I can't find any place to service my reg. I don't want to go out an get a new reg while my wife is going pack to school and my HERO only had maby 8 dives on it.

To answer your question directly,- No, there is nothing wrong with the Seac Sub regulator at all, Seac is a very big European (Italian) manufacturer and their products are world class, as to the point of spares and servicing - thats another issue, but as far as the quality and reliability is concerned - there really is no problem.

Perhaps you could drop the manufacturer a line at - SEAC SUB S.p.A. - Join the Passion - to check spares etc availability locally.

I never found anywhere i could get it serviced... so, i just went out and bought a delta IV. It works great
