Not Top Secret, just not 100% complete. Owners asked that we not put the link out until the site had been proofed by some of their scientific compatriots. I'd like to think that most folks here would do the same if asked.

A fair request, but, to be sure, the cat is out of the bag, and not via ScubaBoard.

A better approach -- one employed by folks who write scientific papers for publication -- would have been to seek peer review before going live with the website.

Failing that, an understanding of how to use robots.txt to keep it from showing up in the various search engines would have helped their cause.
