Hello everyone;

I bought a new Sea & Sea DX 3000G recently complete with a YS-25 Auto strobe. I'm rather happy with the quality of the pictures however after reviewing my pictures closely I noticed a dead pixel on all of my pictures. I then returned to the establishment where I bought the camera to get it exchanged and a couple of days later, I went diving and took more pictures. Same thing again!!! Another dead pixel on the second batch of pictures. This time the dead pixel is white instead of red and located on a different spot.
I understand that Sea & Sea is merely only a housing for a Ricoh Caplio G3 digital camera. But is Ricoh considered to be low end product? The camera looks fairly well made but of course that doesn't mean anything these days.
So here is my question... Has anyone encountered the same problem or am I just unlucky?

Thanks you all,

NeoDiver

Can you post a picture? I have the same set up and have not noticed any "dead pixels". I have the pic quality/size set on f2048.

I would be more than happy to re-check my pictures but an example of what I am looking for would help.

OK;

Sorry for the late reply, I attached a picture and when lookind at the picture closely, they aal have that red dot.
