I have been getting a lot of feed back from fellow instructors that the Sea Quest Sure-lock are not holding. My LSD told me they hate them cause the weight falls out and a fellow instructor was out this weekend and 2 students lost weight pockets cause it did not hold. I am not bashing just looking for feed back. Thanks

i do not have the sure lock ,but i do have a 2 year old pro qd with just the velcro in pockets and have never had a problem

my LDS uses sure-lock system on their new pro QD+ BC's. they do not, and will not, fall out IF they securely clip it on to the BC. some people will just bluntly cliip it on not knowing that they're doing something wrong. but who can blame them? they're in the moment of fun and excitment...we all forget little details from time to time.

there is another thread on this, where myself, and others voiced their opinions...

CHeck this out!!!

I have a Pro QD+ with Sure Lock and never had a problem, so long as the weights click-in they stay put.

Same thing, I have the QD+ and have not lost a weight pocket since my first experience. The key is to *make sure* you securely clip it in, the QD+ makes a loud "click" when it locks. My one exception was my first experience with it at the LDS pool, lost one in the shallow end because I didn't clip it in securely. Never had a problem since.
