Can I purchase the Air Source A.I.R. and fit it on to an existing Sea Quest hose? Also, could this same A.I.R. be fit on a dacor BCD. I tried asking at my LDS but no one knew anything about them unless they came attached to a BCD and ready to use.

I'm not positive, but I believe you can - if you use an adaptor; they recommend replacing the hose since the fittings are supposed to be different (mine came attached to my BC - i'll have to reread the manual).

I haven't done a conversion like this, so it's best to contact the manufacturer if you can through their website, and ask. :)

================================

We (wife and I) added the AirSource to our existing Seaquest BCD's (Predator and Deva) a couple years ago. They come in as a "kit" and include the entire hose assembly that attaches directly to the shoulder outlet. Also included in the kit is a new low pressure inflator hose.

Have been on a couple liveaboard trips since and are quite satisfied with the changeover. Kept our old inflator assemblies just in case we ever wanted/needed to switch back.
