I just signed up for a photo trip on the Solmar V to the Sea of Cortez for Oct 16-23. Was wondering if anyone else here might be on the trip. I did a trip with Marty Snyderman to Socorro last year and it was amazing. I got some great manta shots. I've heard this is the best time of year to visit the Sea of Cortez. Anybody got any feedback?

Oh, no! In October, the time share salesfolk turn into, umm, great white sharks, yes, that's right, and they go swim after the live-aboards, and turn the divers into chum!

Send me your tickets & save yourself! :eyebrow:

Seriously, the locals say that October is one of the best times to go; air temps are cooler, but water temps are still summer warm (in the 80's at the surface) and visibility is very good.
