I thought dead fish float?

Two years ago I came upon a headless, clean skeleton in Cliff Cove (AKA Telegraph Cove, by Lookout Pt). It was at 94' depth. The first thing I noted was a ribcage, big enough to be that of a big human. There were vertebrae strewn all around and big pieces of a pelvic bone, again, human size. There were no long bones (other than ribs) nor head. I started looking for a bone that would rule out humans. I finally found a ball socket. I concluded it corresponded to a femur bone, definitely not human -- way too short -- and most probably from a seal. I brought the bone up with me. I have it in my scuba stuff closet.

I still say ninjas. They're sneaky like that.
