Hello!

I'm an avid scuba diver (& instructor), who's finally getting around to joining the 21st century information revolution!

I love diving! I don't care if it's cold water, zero-visibility, and high current; as long as I can descend and get neutrally buoyant, I'm happy to be there.

I've been diving and teaching scuba for many years, and, finally, at the urging of some of my students, I just starting writing a blog about issues that affect women in scuba diving. (It's pretty new, feel free to look it over and give me any suggestions!)

I love to talk about diving, think about diving, learn about diving, and above all, to go diving! ScubaBoard seems to be a great place for the first 3. And hopefully I'll meet some more divers here who I can go with to do the 4th!

Be safe!

Welcome to the board! You might want to check out this forum for sharing your blog and some of those ideas: Women's Views - ScubaBoard

Thanks for the friendly replies!

I haven't posted anything about my blog on the women's forum here at scubaboard, because I'm really new to the whole blogging thing, and I don't have as much as I'd like on it yet. I'd love suggestions, though.

I'm also not as computer savvy as I'd like to be...I owe most of the technical set up of the blog to one of my former dive students. I am learning as I go, though, and I did put a link to scubaboard under recommended links!

Safe diving!
