So I just recently bought a SeaLife DC1200 elite over the weekend and I am running into so trouble. Whenever I take a picture (with or without the housing) the picture comes out in a partial circle, as if the lens is being partially blocked. I'm attaching a photo with this. I'm completely new to UW photography, so I don't know if this is normal or not....but I wouldn't think so. If anybody could please let me know if this seems wrong, I would appreciate it. By the way, this photo is with absolutely no zoom on the lens.

Forgot to mention, the picture attached is with the wide angle lens on... it appears to make it worse.

Don't know what it is but it ain't normal, or my DC1200 isn't normal. I haven't got a picture like that yet.

Here's a sample:

hi i have a DC1200 I don't get this when I use the wide angle lens but I have adapted a fisheye lens and a little bit appears. I think it caused by the lens not being put on straight slightly off will cause this, try rotating the lens whens its on the camera.

Sealife sent me a brand new camera, works great now! It had a lenses problem. Great customer service

Great customer service

I am addicted to SeaLife products, and the primary reason is their phenomenal customer service. Any time I have ever needed anything they have always stepped up and gone above and beyond!

I am having this exact same issue. This started during my recent trip to Cozumel and half way through my second dive of 14, I started getting this half moon. It doesn't happen if the camera is set on Auto, but I like to set my white balance and depth as that gives me better pictures... usually. But now I cannot use manual mode as I get this half moon thing too.

I am reaching out Sealife to see what is up.
