I have a Sea-Doo Pro, which has three O-rings -- two large ones which go onto the nose cone, and a small one for the vent plug. The problem is, vent plug o-rings seem to last only for 2 dives, 3 at most. Then they expand, pop out of the groove, and refuse to be shoved back in. I would not mind buying a supply of these little rings, but every scooter supplier sells them only in packs along with nose cone rings -- and I do not need nearly as many of those.

Is it possible to use o-rings for tank (yoke) valve in the scooter vent plug? They are about the same size. Or do you have any other suggestions?

Thank you!

Update: tank O-ring did a perfectly good job. Battery compartment stayed completely dry. No need to buy specialized O-rings.
