It will definitely work in manual flash mode. I assume you are interested in TTL? The best thing is to just try it out. Set your camera to auto flash and the flash to TTL and take shots above water in the different modes to see if it works. NOTE : you may have to switch OFF preflash.

It may well do but Sea and Sea will not say it will or else they have to maintain it at that level.

If not, using a manual flash is easy with a digital camera and I have used my SnS 110a and a YS-50 both in manual mode for 2 years. Once you get used to the flash output you will be able to set the camera close to requirements most times. If you shoot in raw then you can make adjustments later.
