Hi.

I just picked up a Scubapro snorkel and it's seems like it might have a problem. The snorkel is just like my Shotgun 2 except that it has no drainage on the barrel and no purge at the bottom of the mouthpiece--it's just a straight snorkel--but obviously of the newer sort (the same as the Shotguns, a bit flat on the top and with the vertical slider and fast release clip) rather than the old style. The problem is this: the barrel swivels very freely--what seems to me to be too freely. The barrel is in two pieces (like all the Shotguns) and the joint, on this snorkel, swivels with almost no resistance whatsoever. Does anyone know if this is by design or a defect?

Thanks,

Mahjong
