I have the Seahawk, Knighthawk and Diverite Transpac with the Travel EXP wing... I have not experienced any problems dumping air with the Scubapro BCs... The transpac took some getting used to and it turned out I was positioning the tank too low resulting in pinching the wing at the top, after that no problem...

I will parrot some of the others, you need to find the right position to get the air out by whatever exhaust mechanism you are using...dumps, or low pressure inflator exhaust valve. I own a Knighthawk as my travel BC and have never had an issue. I will suggest to you, dump some air before you start your ascent. I would also recommend dumping a little air every couple of feet as you ascend. I do dive a backplate and wing as my primary BC, however, it is not the solution for every BC question.
