Newly Serviced!!

My regulator kit was specifically chosen and setup for tech diving and has fewer than 30 dives on it. Of course, it can be used recreationally too! I chose the S560 regulator as the octopus because I wanted to have my backup on par with my primary regulator. The MK25/S600 combination is amongst Scubapro’s top regulator combination. I have the S600 on a 6’ hose and my S560 is on a necklace. This is because if someone is out of air then they’re likely to grab the one they see first and it’s probably going to be the one in my mouth. I can then reach below my chin and retrieve my back up. The 6’ hose has the added benefit of giving both divers some distance to ascent comfortably apart and if you’re cave diving then exiting the cave can be done in tandem.

My philosophy regarding upkeep is that my life depends upon my gear and therefore I keep it in pristine condition. I thoroughly clean everything after every dive without exception.

FEATURES
  • Air balanced flow-through piston in a chrome plated brass body provides constant and effortless airflow unaffected by depth, tank pressure, or breathing rate.
  • Patented XTIS (Extended thermal Insulating system) thermally insulates the inner mechanism from the environment, improving cold-water resistance and delaying ice formation in extreme cold-water conditions without compromising breathing performance.
  • Anti-freeze protection radically increases breathing reliability when diving in the most extreme water temperatures.
  • Two opposing high pressure ports allow the first stage to be positioned either up or down.
  • Four high-flow and one axial super high-flow low pressure ports on a swivel turret maximize hose routing options.
  • External intermediate pressure adjustment enables technicians to fine-tune performance quickly and easily.
  • Air balanced second stage valve smoothes out the inhalation effort at varying depths and supply pressures.
  • Second stage’s rugged reinforced technopolymer case and front cover with stainless steel frame looks good plus is extremely durable.
  • Metal valve housing (barrel) is able to withstand years of aggressive diving.
  • User controls include a diver-adjustable inhalation effort knob and Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) dive/pre-dive switch.
  • Super-flow hose features an oversized bore (larger inside hose diameter) that allows more air to flow on each inhalation.
  • Ultra-comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece is easy to grip yet doesn't inhibit airflow.
