Does someone know if I can use my MK5 DIN adapter on my MK20? I don't have my MK5 anymore, and am looking for a din adapter for my MK20.

Thanks!
G Medina

If you are talking the adapter that attached to a DIN reg so it can be used on valve designed to accept an A-clamp, it's one size fits all. But if you have a DIN connector on a Mk5, it will not fit on a Mk20.

All Scubapro first stages EXCEPT the Mk 5, use the same universal DIN converision kit. The Mk 5 is an odd duck in terms of yoke and DIN retainers.

Last thing I knew the 2/3/200 used a different kit - has that
changed?
In the past, the Mk 2, Mk 3 and Mk 200 used 10-043-030 while the other regs used the 10-400-030.

The difference was that the regs using the 10-400-030 kit had an o-ring sealing against the reg body at the bottom of the retainer while the regs using the 10-043-030 kit used an o-ring sealing between the retainer and the reg body toward the top of the retainer.

However they now all use the same universal DIN kit as it now incorporates a retainer that accommodates an o-ring in either location. It also incorporates a lip toward the top of the retainer that contacts the exterior of the reg body and prevents the torque wrench impaired from completely flattening the o-ring in the bottom of the reg body and overstressing it on regs where the 0-ring seals against the bottom of the retainer.
