I have a Scubapro MK25 with a Yoke adaptor. Is it possible to convert it to a 300 Bar DIN permanently, not just for a one time use? If so what would I need to do so and what should I expect to pay?

I know older scuba pros can use apeks din adapters, not sure about a Mk25 though. Give John from northeast scuba supply a call. He may have a used adapter that can go cheaper than a brand new apeks. He'll also be able to tell you if the apeks will fit your Mk25. Regulators - Din Adapters - Apeks Din Adapters - Northeast Scuba Supply

You need the scubapro DIN conversion kit, exactly what is suggested by pudsky and slamfire. A good SP dealer should install it for free if you buy it there, or you can do it yourself if you have a torque wrench and a (I think) 6mm allen socket. You technically need a special socket to get the yoke nut off, but realistically you can use a big adjustable wrench or even a vise. That's because you're only taking it off, not putting it back on.

I would guess, just judging from leisurepro's price, that a typical SP dealer will charge about $75 for the kit.

I converted my Mk25's to din, the shop charged $60 each. I wish the Scubapro's were already DIN.
My wife was very happy to point out that all of her Poseidon regulators were already DIN. ;-)

You can order them as DIN instead of yoke. All 5 sets of mine are DIN.

The shop I bought them from only orders them as yoke regs. At the time that was the only choice.
I always thought for anything outside of Europe, they were all yoke.
It adds up, having to convert them.
