Still BAD! Easy to get caught on thin line, ask me how I know that. I was so pissed with it, I took a huge hammer and destroyed it after the dive. This happened many years ago but never forgotten it.

Same thing happened to me. It’s a fishing line magnet. I would never use a ziptie to attach it either.

Technically it still is a bolt snap, but I agree, kind of an abortion of a design.
Get a proper bolt snap.
