What are you talking about? The latter MK-5, MK-10, MK-15, MK-19, MK-20, MK-25 all have the fifth port standard. I am not sure about the MK-14. MK-18, and some of the older models like the MK-8 and 9.

The MK-21 has a tech option that gives a fifth port and different hose routing.

What I'm talking about is why doesn't SP put the fifth port on all the mk21's instead of making you purchase it separately. I wen't back and edited my post so it would be more clear.

I believe it is an option, not an addition, when you purchase the reg new. The design allows for easily interchangeable caps.

The difference between the two port caps is that the optional "tech" cap has 2x ports at 0 degrees and 2x ports at 30 degrees forward as well as the downward facing port. The standard cap has 2x ports at +20 degrees and 2x ports a -20 degrees.

The halcyon photos that someone posted shows the long hose running from the downward facing port which seems like a good idea. I hadn't though of that before. That would leave me to running only the LPI whip on the awkward angle.
