Scubapro Jetfins Spring Straps??

Hi there,

well i was just wondering abt the spring straps that ppl have been talking about.

Is there anybody who can enlighten me on what does spring straps on Jet Fins means?

I just bought a pair of jet-fins and i guess it's the normal ones which is hard to push to lock it.

I really appreciate any enlightenment available from you guys.

The entire strap is replaced by an unbreakable stainless steel spring. Means no more broken fin straps once they get a bit old, which means no more ruined dives. I find them easier to get on and off too. Here's a picture of some on some fins - there are other brands around as well.

they basically replace the rubber strap with a stainless steel spring. No messing with the buckle, nothing to break. The link shows the halcyon ones with the nylon tubing covering the spring. I made my own, could make you a set too if you want. PM me if you want.
