Heya all. Love my hydros and even though I wanted to replace it it’s a great bit of kit just limited on some areas.

I would love to see how people have theirs set up in terms of pocket, rings (upgraded) and where they are attaching things to in general.

Why? How so?
I wanted to replace it with a Xdeep wing, but I love my dump valve too much and decided against it.

The Hydros' connection points are in such **** locations hence my desire to see how others are doing it. The rear D-rings are near impossible to get hold of and the ones on the chest are small and the ones on the pockets are useless when you attach a scubapro ninja pocket OR just hard to get hold of for diconnecting.

I have seen people change the shoulder d rings to bigger ones which seem to make a huge difference, but I would love to see other peoples setups or just their expereince.

It sounds like you got the wrong size there friend (or bad adjustment), do you use it with the weight pockets or the „travel harness“?

The pocket mini drings are for sure tiny and not really usable; maybe semi permanent connections like SPG is where they work well

Size is perfect for me and it’s streamlined and lovely. Just don’t like placement of the connection points and want to see how people are using theirs
